InnoScan^® 900 is a high resolution fluorescence scanner 2 colors (635nm and 532nm), including a barcode reader, suitable for all microarrays (nucleic acid, protein, cells and tissues arrays) dedicated to for a variety of applications (gene expression, genotyping, aCGH, ChIP-chip, microRNA, DNA Methylation, proteomic, custom arrays). InnoScan^® 900 is dedicated to high density microarrays.

InnoScan^® 900 is able to scan a microarray at 1μm/pixel resolution while keeping high quality image. Due to the size of images (5.74 GB at 1μm/pixel full slide), we developed Mapix^® to manage the huge volume file. (See FAQ's)

As InnoScan^® 710, InnoScan^® 900 is a confocal scanner based on 2 extremely sensitive photomultipliers (PMT) having a linear variation of the gain (from 0 to 100 %), which allows the users to configure in real-time the PMT gain to ajust the fluorescence signal levels (mainly saturation levels and channel balacing of the 2 colors).
It use a dynamic autofocusing system, which gives the advantage to be not sensitive to substrate deformation and offers perfectly uniform scanning across the entire chip surface.
The confocal optical design associated with a dynamic autofocus sytem make our scanners wellknown for their excellent photometric performance notably in terms of their sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio.
Able to scan simultaneously the 2 detection channels in 3.5 minutes (at 10μm/pixel,full scan area), thanks to its patented XY motorization, InnoScan^® 900 is the fastest scanner on the market with a flexible scanning speed from 10 to 35 lines per seconds.

InnoScan^® 900 comes with intuitive and easy-to-use Mapix^® software. Mapix^® does acquisition, image analysis and data export to other standard software well-know in the market. It is compatible with 32 and 64-bits Windows^® and Linux Operating Systems (Mac soon). It could be delivered with a PC that the minimum requirement is: OS 64 bits, RAM 16GB, graphic card 256MB, HD 500GB.
