A multidisciplinary team, made-to-measure products.

Formed in 1999, INNOPSYS SA is distinguished by its diverse and highly skilled teams, with expertise in optics, micromechanics, servomechanisms and embedded electronics.

Our development strategy is strongly Research & Development oriented.

With the objective to propose competitive and technological products, INNOPSYS develops, manufactures and sells instruments and associated softwares for the global marketplace.

Our engineers and technicians offer their unique know-how and over 10 years' experience in equipment design and development, notably for optical discs and biotechnologies. Some of our team helped to invent the compact disc in Thomson's research laboratories.

Therefore in June 1999, we won a prize in the first competition for innovative start-up companies organized by the French Ministry for Research and Technology in order to develop our DVD initializer.

At INNOPSYS, our engineers and specialists work side by side to translate requirements into end products, exploring all avenues and exploiting new technologies. Our team's expertise and their ability to innovate quickly won the confidence of venture capital.

So since 2001, INNOPSYS has rapidly expanded its business into applications with great potential for growth, particularly in biotechnology where we have forged partnerships with world-leading companies like bioMérieux.

We also offer since 2006 a range of microarray scanners, named InnoScan, adapted for biotechnological research and industry markets to such applications as diagnostics, agri-food, process control...

Today, Innopsys has completed its supply with Mapix: a convivial and performant Microarray Image Analysis.

A technological actor in biochips' world
INNOPSYS, bringing its technology and its know-how, takes part in various projects in collaboration with partners coming from different and complementary backgrounds in order to reduce the cost of the biochips' technology.

Thus, it makes party of the European IBDchip project financed by European Community FP6 program (Sixth Framework Programme) allowing the validation of the first "DNA arrays" diagnosing two intestinal diseases (Crohn's disease and ulcerous colitis).

In this project, INNOPSYS must optimize the technological processes to answer the constraints of the medical diagnosis (reduction of cost and handling time for the users).

From the longer-term point of view, INNOPSYS integrated one of the first scientific interdisciplinary projects of ITAV (Institut des Technologies Avancées en Sciences du Vivant), future interdisciplinary research center around biology dedicated to the innovation located at the heart of Toulouse Canceropole.

This project named HIT-CHIP consists in developing diffracting biochips for the high throughput pharmacological screening. Its partners in this project are Pierre Fabre, LAAS-CNRS, INSA and INRA.

A company facing the innovation until its installations.

Innopsys' facility is built to most exacting environmental quality standards to ensure minimal environmental impact,  while creating the best conditions for partners and employees alike.
